I went to my freezer to get chocolate chips to make bars and instead of chocolate chips I pulled out 4 ~ 1/4-1/2 bags of sweets ~ peanut butter chips, M&M’s, dark chocolate chips and Reese’s peanut butter cups! Nummy. I thought ~ lets just throw them onto a crust and see what comes out! The base is “shortbreadish” just cause, yum. Threw some marshmallows on top and some leftover peanut butter ice cream topping and caramel sauce. The result was delish.
* Your “junk” can be WHATEVER you have, chocolates, candy, nuts, coconut. Be creative or keep it simple and let me know what your combo’s are!!
1 1/2 sticks of butter, softened
2 c. flour
1 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
pinch of salt
2 c. of “junk” ~ chocolate chips, M&M’s, peanut butter chips, Reese’s, etc.
2 c. mini marshmallows
1/2 c. some kinda drizzle ~ caramel sauce or chocolate sauce, etc.
Combine the butter, flour, sugar, vanilla and salt and mix till crumbly. Press into a greased 9″x13″ pan. Bake @ 350* for 20 minutes OR till light brown or the shade of brown you prefer. 🙂 Take out and top with your “junk” of choice, than marshmallows, then drizzle of choice. Bake for another 20-25 minutes or so, till lightly browned on top. Cool a bit, cut and enjoy!
